On May 4 we celebrated our American Christian Honor Society’s annual Induction Ceremony. Each member must maintain high academic averages, have teacher recommendations, and be involved in service projects.

Soucy Bottle Bill
Congratulations, Collin Soucy, SFCA class of 2016 Salutatorian! Collin’s “Bottle Bill,” his winning speech from the 2016 Senator for a Day Contest, is now a real bill on its way to committee! Collin named it the Soucy Bottle Bill. Many thanks to the Jasper County Legislative Delegation and Mrs. Helen Pittman for this amazing opportunity.
Representative for a Day
Congratulations to Collin Soucy who represented Step of Faith Christian Academy this year at the South Carolina Representative for a Day Competition. This is the second time he has won and in 2015 he met late Sen Pinckney.
Collin came in second place with his proposal to put a deposit on cans and bottles to cut down on littering.
